Dear patient,

We hope you and your loved ones are keeping well.
We have all experienced severe difficulties over the last few months and we are all looking forward to getting back to our routines.
While many things have changed, one thing remains: our commitment to your health and safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority in our practice, as you have seen in your previous visits to our clinic. Our cleaning, sterilisation and treatment procedures are always implemented so that, when you receive treatment, it is done under safe and comfortable conditions.
Our practice observes all the relevant guidelines for infection control.
You will probably notice a few new developments on your next visit.
We made these changes to better protect you and ourselves from Covid-19.

  • You must complete the PRE-APPOINTMENT questionnaire before we can book your appointment. (See link at the bottom of the page)

  • You will be asked the same questions again when you come to the clinic.

  • Please comply with the following rules: come at the exact time of your appointment with a mask, no one should come with you accept if you require a care person.

  • Practice doors will be locked at all times. Only patients with pre booked appointments will be able to enter the Practice. Once you arrive, please wait in the car or outside until you will be asked to come in.

  • Your temperature will be taken and logged in. If you have temperature  above 37.8C, you will be asked to go home and call NHS111.

  • We will provide hand sanitiser which we recommend you use as soon as you come to the practice. You will be provided with the shoe covers and hair cover.

  • Please bring minimal amount of personal belongings as you will not be allowed to take them with you into the treatment room.

  • Avoid using Practice toilets where possible.

  • You will notice that we no longer offer magazines, children’s books or other items in the waiting room because these items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

  • Appointments will be scheduled such as to allow for the necessary social distancing between patients, and also mandatory disinfection times, which means that you may have less choice of appointment times.

We look forward to seeing you soon and meanwhile we remain available to answer any questions you may have about all the steps we are taking to ensure your safety.
After this period of lockdown and practice closure we look forward to being able to help you maintain your oral health once again.
Warmest regards,

Your Reigate dental team
